although it is not conceptually new of using container to make art work (even a bit old fashion, i can say) and this time we use only the outside surface to paint, this event moved me. as there are merely (so they call themself Mere Independent Artists) artists enjoy outdoor enjoy the site and of course, enjoy paint. there might not have any critical statement and serious discussion come along with the show.

recently, when i am in the moment that fed up with talks seminars and discussion. i only want to make works. and i heard Stella Tang once talked about we artists indeed are simple creatures and easy going. yes, we need time and space to work. chance to show. right place right system. no fancy but simple stuffs. and i think sometimes audiences do as the same way.

when you are all fancy about hk artfair, also take your chance to come to the site and the works, (two days left...) enjoy open air in West Kowloon Cultural District. we never know how it will be there eventually. huge luxurious museums? but anyhow, MIA makes an art exhibition (of local artists) there happened already. just a bit pity that there are still lots of active artists didn't joined this event. but we can never expect to see all artists in one show!
