In 1953 Rauschenberg approached a reluctant Willem de Kooning, the peeminent abstract expressionist painter, requesting one of his drawings with the express intention of erasing it. The drawing quickly became renowned as the antithesis of abstract expressionist art practice, affirming Rauschenberg as a key leader in a new generation of artists"

i think it is really a good idea to put this work in the entrance of the main exhibition hall, in this year 2008, Robert Rauschenberg was passed away.
