in another land

mistaken the day of presentation
...two days earlier
bundle of slides not having selected well
talked and showed too much at one time
being too excited
in the dark in front of screen in front of people
resulted next day off of blinkness
took a trail walk early in six
walked depressed pace
and perhaps very slow and quite
round-ear rabbit did not realize
and not being scared to run away as they usually do
i moved my body behind a tree
kept a distance
looked at it jump back and forth
from one side to another - left to right, right to left
crossing the road, but not run away from me
round-ear rabbit
save me from being sad
